Travel Agent Training – Tuesday – Week Two

Travel Agent Training – Tuesday, Week Two

Day two began with a presentation by On the Go tours. It left me longing desperately for an on the go tour, yep, I’ve fallen in love. As our rep went through some of their products and consultant discounts I found myself trying to figure out how we could sneak away on one of these tours before the end of the year. They look so so good.

After talking some deep breaths and focusing again on the end goal, I come to realise, I can possibly book a couple of these with the discount… But maybe wait until I know dates we  will go to Spain. That way we won’t need two lots of European airfares for four people. But now I’ve flipped the planning process again.

After our product session, we moved into learning about airfares. Our trainer stood in front of our class and said, “unless you have a passport or a visa for the country you are travelling to, you can’t really book one way fares”. Uh oh, my whole itinerary revolved around one way fares… It appears my plan needs a bit more work. I’ll have to look into how other bloggers / travellers do it. I’m sure there are a few out there on one way tickets. But I’ll save that for another day.
